Carson Ferguson to make Craftsman Truck Series debut at Martinsville Speedway

Dirt Late Model driver Carson Ferguson will make his NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series debut later this year for Kaulig Racing, earning a one-race opportunity Oct. 30 at Martinsville Speedway through Ram’s Race for the Seat reality-show competition.

Ferguson entered the competition’s finale leading by one point over eventual winner Mini Tyrrell, who secured the program’s full-time Truck Series ride with Kaulig Racing, before finishing second in the final point standings. The 25-year-old earned the one-off Martinsville start by capturing the competition’s 20-lap, $50,000-to-win pavement Late Model event at South Boston (Va.) Speedway.
