Carson Ferguson bags trio of Top-10 finishes across three racetracks
With Speedweeks in the rear view mirror, Carson Ferguson and the Paylor Motorsports team took in some regional action as they kicked off a three-day race weekend with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway.
Ferguson stared ninth in the $7,553-to-win main event and bought home an eighth-place finish. The following night at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway, Carson fell backwards in his heat race but still managed a Top-10 finish in the $10,053-to-win feature.
Wrapping up the extended weekend at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Sunday, Ferguson started 11th in the $15,000-to-win feature and slowly made his way to the Top-5 to land a fourth-place finish.
