Carson Ferguson races into World 100 at Eldora Speedway; sixth-place outing in preliminary feature
Teaming up with Little Pink Houses of Hope for the weekend, Carson Ferguson unloaded his newly-wrapped Paylor Motorsports No. 93 machine at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday afternoon to kick off the World 100.
Starting out with Castrol FloRacing Night in America, Ferguson was among a 82-car field for the $20,000-to-win event. Racing his way in after a runner-up showing in his heat race, Carson went from 11th-to-6th in the 50-lap feature to score a Top-10 finish.
As the field elevated to 107 entries on Thursday afternoon, Carson finished 12th in his first $12,000-to-win preliminary feature before scoring a Top-10 in Friday's prelim with a sixth-place finish.
Earning his spot in the 100-lap finale after nabbing the final transfer spot in his heat race, Ferguson pulled off after 47 laps to finish 25th.
