Carson Ferguson kicks off 2026 with World of Outlaws at Volusia Speedway Park

Making his first start in the 2026 race season, Carson Ferguson unloaded the Paylor Motorsports No. 93 machine at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) and joined a 56-car field for the six-day DIRTcar Nationals.

Ferguson started his raceweek on Tuesday where he finished 15th in the evening's feature before finishing 18th in a split-field feature on Wednesday.

Carson was unable to race his way into the first two World of Outlaw features on Thursday and Friday, but earned a spot in the $20,000 finale on Saturday after finishing runner-up in a heat race. Ferguson went on to finish 13th in the 50-lapper.
