Carson Ferguson rebounds from vicious wreck at Knoxville Raceway

Following the tour back out to the Midwest, Carson Ferguson and the Paylor Motorsports bunch joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in the state of Iowa at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway for the 21st-annual Knoxville Nationals.

In Thursday's $10,000-to-win opener, Ferguson was battling for position when he got up and over the cushion which sent him airborne. Carson flipped multiple times, but was evaluated and released with no injuries.

Carson came back strong on Friday evening as he set quicktime among the 40-car field and eventually recorded a Top-10 in the $10,000-to-win prelim.

Locked into Saturday's $75,000-to-win finale, Ferguson started 12th in the 75-lapper and recorded a 20th-place outing.
