Carson Ferguson earns quicktime honors in Rumble by the River finale at Port Royal

Primed for two straight weeks in the state of Pennsylvania, Carson Ferguson was one of 45 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series cars at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the night one of the Rumble by the River.

Finishing 19th in the $10,000-to-win opener, Ferguson focused on Saturday's finale where he set fast time and picked up a heat race win. Carson started on the pole of the $50,000-to-win feature event, but faded back to 12th after 50-laps.

Ferguson remains ninth in the overall point standings.
