Ferguson lands Top-5 with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at 34 Raceway

Making the march out to the Midwest, Carson Ferguson followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) on Thursday afternoon to kick off a three-day weekend across Iowa and Missouri.

Laying down the third-fastest lap out of 27 entries who took times, Ferguson picked up a heat race win and put the Paylor Motorsports No. 93 machine on the second-row for the $15,000-to-win feature. Carson rounded out the Top-5 in fifth.

For the Diamond Nationals at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Friday and Saturday, Ferguson finished 12th in the opener and closed out the weekend with a 14th-place outing in the $25,000-to-win finale.

Ferguson is now ninth in the LOLMDS point standings.
