Ferguson rolls to pair of Top-10 finishes with Lucas Oil at Eagle Raceway
The Paylor Motorsports team made a stop at Marshalltown (Iowa) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon for a $20,000-to-win FloRacing Night in America show ahead of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series weekend at Eagle (Neb.) Raceway.
Racing his way into the 50-lap main event with a B-Main win, Ferguson started 17th and finished 14th in the A-Main.
With 37 entries on hand for the three-day High Bank Heist, Carson rounded out the Top-10 in Thursday's weekend opener before recording his best showing of the week on Friday with a ninth-place finish.
Primed for the $50,000 finale on Saturday night, Ferguson charged from seventh-to-secon din his heat race to start sixth in the 75-lap showdown. Carson ran inside the Top-10 before fading to finish 15th when the checkered flag flew.
Ferguson is ninth in the LOLMDS point standings.
