10th-place showing in Lucas Oil's first visit to Circle City Raceway

Following the tour to kick off a multi-week swing through the Midwest, Carson Ferguson was one of 27 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries at Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) on Friday afternoon for the first of two race nights.

Stopping the clock sixth-quickest, Ferguson recorded a runner-up outing in his heat race and started on the third-row of the A-Main. With $15,000 up for grabs, Carson landed a Top-10 finish in 10th.

Saturday's $25,000-to-win show at Florence Speedway (Walton, Ky.) was rained out.

Ferguson currently sits 10th in the LOLMDS point standings.
