Carson Ferguson joins World of Outlaws for Sunshine Nationals at Volusia

With rain showers cancelling Thursday's show, Carson Ferguson rolled into Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Sunshine Nationals with the World of Outlaw Late Model Series.

Racing into the evening's feature with a runner-up finish in his heat race, Carson started 10th in the $12,000-to-win feature and brought back a 13th-place finish. Ferguson missed Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale after a fourth-place finish in his last chance showdown.
