Carson Ferguson pilots Crate Late Model at Swainsboro Raceway for Turkey 100
Piloting a Longhorn by Wesley Page machine, Carson Ferguson returned to the Crate Late Model ranks over the weekend as he joined Crate Racin' USA at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway for the Turkey 100.
Laying down the quickest lap in his qualifying group and winning his heat race, Ferguson earned the pole position for Saturday's $10,000-to-win main event. Carson led the first 34 laps of the 50-lap finale before mechanical issues forced him to pull off. He was scored 20th with a DNF.
