Carson Ferguson records strong weekend in Pittsburgher; fourth and ninth-place finishes with Lucas Oil
Making his way up North for another weekend of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition, Carson Ferguson invaded Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (Imperial, Pa.) on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Pittsburgher.
Starting with 38 Late Models for the weekend, Ferguson finished runner-up in his heat and started eighth in the $10,000-to-win opener where he would make up four spots to land inside the Top-5 in fourth.
Primed for Saturday's $50,000-to-win finale, Carson started 17th in the 70-lap feature and charged his way inside the Top-10 to finish ninth.
Ferguson is currently 16th in the LOLMDS point standings.
