14th-place finish in Knoxville Nationals with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
Kicking off a long stretch of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition, Carson Ferguson rolled into Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway on Thursday afternoon for the first of two preliminary nights.
Scoring a Top-10 finish in his prelim on Thursday, Carson finished 16th on Friday with the finishes earning him a spot in the Knoxville Nationals.
Starting 17th in the $50,000-to-win crown jewel, Ferguson made up three spots to finish 14th after 75 laps.
Ferguson is currently 16th in the LOLMDS point standings.
