Carson Ferguson tackles first Dirt Late Model Dream with Paylor Motorsports

With Wednesday’s FloRacing Night in America event rained out following hot laps, Carson Ferguson and Paylor Motorsports returned to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday night for the team’s preliminary program for the 30th annual Dirt Late Model Dream.

Hitting the invert just right for Thursday's heat race, Ferguson led flag-to-flag and earned a spot in the $25,000-to-win preliminary feature. After 50 laps, Carson recorded a 13th-place finish.

Slated to roll off from the pole in his heat race on Saturday, Ferguson faded back to fifth when the checkered flag flew. Needing a Top-2 position in his B-Main to make the feature event, Carson came up a few spots short in seventh.
