Competing in the second leg of the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals doubleheader weekend, Carson Ferguson unloaded the Paylor Motorsports No. 93 machine at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon.

Topping the charts in qualifying, Ferguson led flag-to-flag in his heat race to earn the pole position for the $10,053-to-win feature. Running in second-place for the first-half of the event, Carson lost a left rear tire on lap 35 and decided to call it a night. He was scored 15th.
