Carson Ferguson endures tough World 100 weekend at Eldora Speedway
Making the long haul to the state of Ohio, Carson Ferguson unveiled a special Freddy Smith-themed wrap at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Thursday afternoon for the 53rd-running of the World 100.
With the whopping 102-car field split into two groups, Carson grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race before recording a 19th-place outing in the second $12,000-to-win prelim feature.
For another round of prelims on Friday, Ferguson fell back in his heat race and missed the A-Main by just one position in his Last Chance Showdown.
Rolling off seventh in his Saturday heat race, Carson was battling for position when he was caught up in an accident that ended his weekend early.
