Fourth-place outing in Ultimate SE finale at Ultimate Motorsports Park
Staying close to home over the weekend, Carson Ferguson returned to the reopened Ultimate Motorsports Park (Elkin, N.C.) for the $7,500 Ultimate Southeast Series finale.
With 31 Late Models checked in, Carson locked himself into the feature after stopping the clock second-fastest in his group. Rolling off from the second row in the 40-lap main event, Ferguson ran as high as second before slipping off the podium to finish fourth. He followed Donald McIntosh, Jimmy Owens, and Ben Watkins to the line while Gray Parton completed the Top-5.
