Carson Ferguson joins American All-Star Series at Cherokee Speedway

Returning to his Crate Late Model over the weekend, Carson Ferguson unloaded the Wesley Page-owned No. 75 at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) to compete with the American All-Star Series for the Summer South Sizzler.

Topping the charts among 43 Late Models in qualifying, Ferguson transferred to the Race Track Connection Dash where he would lead all six laps to score the pole position for Saturday's $20,000-to-win showdown.

With the erratic weather pushing the event to Sunday afternoon, Carson led 62 of the first 63 laps before fading to the back of the field. Suffering a flat tire with just 10 laps to go, Ferguson pulled off and was scored 14th in the rundown.

Full results from the event can be found at www.CherokeeSpeedwaySC.com.
